To get the best possible scan, negatives should be as flat as possible when fed into our scanners. There are several adapters that allow us to scan negatives without mounting them, but they do a pour job at flattening negatives and tend to cause part of the scans to be out of focus.

Because of this, we mount all negatives in slide mounts to run though our scanners, giving us the best possible scans.
