Media Storage Help for Digitizing Slides, Negatives & Pictures

Media Storage

We have several media options for you to choose from. If you only have a few slides or negatives to scan you will likely choose CD media. On a single data CD you will be able to store between 12 (high resolution TIFF) and 175 (low resolution JPEG) images. CD Media Storage
DVD Media Storage For most orders DVD media is going to be the best format for you. Each disc holds 4.7GB's of data which is enough room to store 83 (high resolution TIFF) or 1500 (low resolution JPEG) images.
If you are scanning a large amount of slides you should consider a external hard drive. With this option you will be able to save all your images onto one device and be able to simply plug in into your computer using USB.
